Jenny Edwards, author and education consultant, teaches in the Leadership for Change doctoral program in the School of Leadership Studies at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. She has taught at the elementary, middle school, and university levels and served in professional learning for Jefferson County Schools in Denver, Colorado. In this role, she was involved in mentoring teachers, presenting demonstration lessons, and facilitating professional learning sessions throughout the district.
She began teaching time management for educators when she was serving at the elementary level and has expanded her work over the years. In addition, Edwards has conducted extensive research in the area of Cognitive Coaching(SM), including its effects on teacher efficacy, empowerment, conceptual thinking, and student-centered teaching. She has presented at conferences in 14 countries in French, Italian, Spanish, and English on topics related to using language effectively with students, managing time effectively, conducting research. Edwards holds ACC coaching certification with the International Coach Federation and is trained as a life and grief coach.
