Apply to Be an ASCD Emerging Leader

Nominate yourself or a colleague for the ASCD Emerging Leader program's 2017 class. All Emerging Leaders are enrolled in the program for two years and help to shape education policy, advocate for the whole child, and explore multiple ASCD leadership pathways. While in the program, educators can take advantage of numerous opportunities, such as
  • Presenting at ASCD conferences and events
  • Writing for ASCD publications
  • Facilitating the monthly #ASCDL2L Twitter chat
  • Hosting episodes of ASCD Learn Teach Lead Radio, a weekly program produced in partnership with BAM! Radio Network
