5 Ways to Authentically Lead Toward Equity

In pursuing educatable education, leaders face a real risk that doing equity results in efforts that only impact the surface level or maintain the status quo. In his newest book, Leading Your School Toward Equity: A Practical Framework for Walking the Talk, Dwayne Chism offers an approach to equity that speaks to school leadership and its role in creating deep-rooted change. In this presentation, Dwayne will discuss common challenges with equity work, an Educational Leadership Framework for systemic change, and intentional everyday actions for leaders to successfully guide a culture. Any leader who is interested in establishing a coherent and transformative path to equity should find this session very useful.
