About the presenter

Suzie Boss is a writer, educational consultant, and national faculty emeritus at Buck Institute for Education's PBLWorks, who focuses on the power of teaching and learning to improve lives and transform communities. She works across the United States and around the globe to support schools that are shifting away from traditional instruction and engaging students in real-world problem solving.

She is the author or coauthor of several books on education and innovation and is a regular contributor to Edutopia. She collaborated with award-winning Stephen Ritz to tell his inspiring story in The Power of a Plant, (Rodale Books, 2017). Her work has appeared in a wide range of publications, including Educational Leadership, Principal Leadership, The New York Times, Education Week, and Huffington Post.
