Curriculum 21: Essential Education in a Changing World

In this Webinar

Many students decode what they read, but they don't comprehend it. Reciprocal teaching strategies (Palincsar & Brown, 1984)—also known as the Fabulous Four (Oczkus, 2010) predict, question, clarify, and summarize work as a powerful package to begin to yield results in reading comprehension in the first 15 days. Many students accelerate one grade level in reading in just three to six months and up to .74 in one year (Hattie, 2008).

About the presenter

Lori Oczkus is a literacy coach, bestselling author, and popular international speaker. Tens of thousands of teachers have attended her motivating, fast-paced workshops and read her practical, research-based professional books and articles.
