ASCD Welcomes New Affiliates

ASCD's Board of Directors is pleased to announce their approval of new ASCD affiliates in Argentina, Jamaica, New Mexico, and Nova Scotia. ASCD affiliates are geographically based groups of educators who work to enrich learning in local communities, influence education policy, and exchange high-quality education practices. ASCD has 66 national and international affiliates that function as separate education organizations working collaboratively as part of the greater ASCD community to serve educators who serve children.
Argentina ASCD will provide professional learning and resources through teacher training programs at major universities. Jamaica ASCD has served educators as a longtime ASCD Connected Community and has grown to achieve affiliate status. New Mexico ASCD will build a network for thought leadership and collaboration for educators at all levels. And Nova Scotia ASCD will promote the Whole Child through its work with the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
