What are components to consider when teaching complex text? How can educators design learning experiences with engaging strategies to closely read challenging material? And what are these types of text across content areas? Join Kathy Glass, author of the ASCD book Complex Text Decoded: How to Design Lessons and Use Strategies That Target Authentic Texts, for practical support and suggestions for close reading of rigorous text. During this one-hour interactive webinar, Glass will introduce a lesson framework, share concrete strategies that infuse rigor and engagement into your lessons, and provide examples of traditional and nontraditional complex text across content areas.
